Genertel campaign websites

Between 2018 and 2025, I developed more than ten campaign and prize-draw websites for Genertel Insurance through my contract-based collaboration with BellaCom Kft. Each implementation was based on the campaign brief, content, and visual design supplied for that project.

Challenge

Each campaign required a different registration journey, field structure, business logic, and set of validation rules. The collected data also had to be delivered in a predictable format and schedule compatible with Genertel’s internal processing workflow.

In addition to recurring data delivery during a campaign, the solution had to support a complete export after the registration period closed.

My role

BellaCom and Genertel supplied the brief, content materials, and visual designs. I was responsible for the complete technical implementation: building the Drupal websites, developing the multi-step form journeys and project-specific logic and validation, and implementing the export and delivery workflows.

Solution

The Drupal 7 and Webform-based campaign sites used multi-step forms tailored to the requirements of each project. Custom rules and validation ensured that registrations were captured in the structure required by the campaign.

Registrations were automatically converted into XLS files. A cron process generated and emailed the current data to Genertel twice a week, followed by a complete export of the full registration period after each campaign closed.

Outcome and evidence

The result was a repeatedly used campaign-delivery approach connecting campaign-specific user journeys with automated internal data transfer. The cron-driven workflow removed the need to initiate each recurring export manually, while a complete dataset remained available at the end of every campaign.

As a developer, I did not have access to campaign-performance or conversion data, so this case study does not attribute unverifiable business metrics to the implementation. Its evidence is the long-running collaboration, the delivered campaign sites, and the documented data workflows.
